July 15, 2005 - Scheduled for an early-2007 release, the documentary Before the Music Dies is a must-see for any music enthusiast and for anyone concerned with the well-being of the music industry. Ken Walden, engineer, producer, and founder of Secrets of the Pros, was interviewed for the film to give insight into some of the more interesting technical innovations of the last decade, and was also asked to give his opinion on the current state of the industry. May 2004 - After roughly six months of preparation, Secrets of the Pros was launched with the release of their first product, The Basics of Modern Recording & Mixing DVD set. Founder Ken Walden started the company to give those interested in audio recording an easy way to learn techniques used by a long lineage of the best producers, engineers and artists in the recording industry. This DVD has been endorsed by an extensive list of industry veterans, and countless customers have sent in their positive responses via email.
